Manny: Hi thanks for joining us on FiGUR3 TH1$ OuT my name is is Manny Torres your anchor man and along with me is your anchor woman for today Joann Gonzalez. Hi Joann how are you doing?

Joann: Good Manny how about you?

Manny: Im doing excellent. Well lets start with the math problem of the day shall we Joann.

Joann: Yes Manny well people have call us saying that this problem is very tricky.

Manny: Al righty Joann well tell me what is the problem of the day.

Joann: ok Manny hear it is the problem of the day is....... If you double the number and add 34, the result is 90. What is the number?

Manny: wow thats pretty challenging but lets go to Levi to explain the problem Hello Levi

Levi: Hello Manny well before we start this problem theres some steps we have to use to solve it and those steps are Joann?

Joann: yes Levi well the six easy steps for this and any other problem are.... 1) Define variables
2) Draw a Picture 3) Label 4) Write an equation 5) Solve the equation and finally 6) Check your answer

Levi: We can finally start, heres a little hint you have all the information in the question, so you can skip steps 1,2and 3. the reason why you can skip these steps in this question is because you a al the info you need for it to solve this. So lets start with step 4) writing the equation. In this problem is easy to write the equation because like i said earlier we have the info. You have given 3 things in your question the double of the number, the addison to get the the answer and the answer so what do we wright for our equation? Al tell you: x(2)+34=90 thats what your equation is going to be. Now lets move to step 5) solving it.  How do we solve this? Well by looking the equation ( x(2)+34=90) the first thing to do is subtract 34 to both sides and your equation will come out as x(2) or 2x=56. now to solve for x you leave x by itself but how do you do that? Well its easy instead of multiplying 2 to both sides you do the opposite which is dividing 2 to both sides so now you divide 56/2 witch will be your x answer and the answer is 28. Finally!! were done!! No not really we need step 6 which is Checking your answer, but how do we check it ? simple you just do the opposite of what you did. so were using the first euation we had which was x(2)+38=90 bu now we plug in the x which will now be 28(2)+34 and it has equal to 90
